In the outskirts of Lodi
there is a little town called Victor. In this town you will find
HP Engine Specialties. HP Engine was opened in 1998 by Harry
Rogers, and he currently runs the shop with his son William by
his side. HP Engine has been a
family affair, with father and son working together, and other
family members have helped along the way. Father and son pride
themselves on making quality products with the best service at
the best price, so that people will not only keep coming back,
but will also tell their friends about their experience. The
shop specializes in performance and race engines. It doesn't
just stop there: They do work on tractor engines, replacement
engines, small and large performances upgrades and much more.
Harry has had an interest
in engines since he was a little boy. When he was a boy he got
in trouble at school when his teacher would find him drawing
pictures of engines rather then doing his school work. It is a
family joke that Harry got his interest in performance engines
when his mother was pregnant with him and accompanied his father
to several races. After a previous business endeavor Harry
received several phone calls from past customers asking him to
open his own performance engine shop. Harry then choose to open
HP Engine Specialties and business was booming as soon as the
doors opened.
The engines built at HP
Engine have won championships and set record times at such
tracks as Sacramento Raceway and Stockton 99 Speedway. Harry
says that his most rewarding moments are when the engines he
builds win championships and set records.
